Phone Numbers
We collect phone numbers from barbers (service providers) and their clients (callers) to facilitate voice-based booking. Barber phone numbers are collected during account registration. Client phone numbers are captured when they call a Slotly booking number.
Booking Data
We collect appointment details including date, time, service type, service provider, and client preferences. This data is essential for scheduling, reminders, and analytics.
Voice Recordings
Calls handled by our AI voice receptionist may be recorded and transcribed for quality assurance, service improvement, and accurate booking processing. Callers are informed at the start of each call that the conversation may be recorded.
Analytics Data
We collect usage analytics including page views, feature interactions, device type, browser information, and session duration to improve our platform and user experience.
Attribution Data
We track the source of bookings, including which social media platform (TikTok, Instagram, etc.) or specific post led a client to call. This attribution data helps barbers understand which content drives bookings. We do not access your social media accounts or content directly.

Azure (Microsoft)
We use Azure OpenAI services to power our AI voice receptionist. Voice data and conversation transcripts are processed through Azure's AI services. Microsoft's data processing terms and privacy commitments apply.
Resend
We use Resend to send transactional emails such as booking confirmations, reminders, and account notifications. Your email address and name may be shared with Resend for email delivery purposes.
We may also share data with law enforcement or regulatory authorities when required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Slotly, our users, or others.
Voice Call Data
Our AI voice receptionist handles phone calls on behalf of barbers. When a client calls a Slotly booking number:
- •The caller is informed that they are speaking with an AI assistant and that the call may be recorded
- •Voice data is transmitted in real time to our AI processing systems to generate responses
- •Call recordings and transcripts may be stored for quality assurance and dispute resolution
- •Voice data is not used to train third-party AI models beyond what is necessary for our service
- •Callers may request deletion of their call recordings by contacting us
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest, secure access controls, regular security audits, and monitoring for unauthorized access. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
